Registration for NEW students for the 2024-25 school year.

Attention all prospective NEW students! Pre-registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now OPEN at Clarke County Public Schools!

Returning students are automatically pre-registered for the 2024-2025 school year and no action is needed from current families until mid-July when returning student registration opens.

School Information:

Children who will be 5 years of age on or before September 30, 2024 must be registered for kindergarten.  Parents who wish to delay kindergarten entrance because their child, “in the opinion of the parent or guardian, is not mentally, physically or emotionally prepared to attend school” must notify the Clarke County Public Schools, in writing, of their intent (Code of VA §22.1-199 and § 22.1-254).

 

Parents must register their child in the attendance area in which they reside.  Information on attendance areas can be found “Information, School Attendance Zones”.
